The Boston Celtics welcomed Jayson Tatum back sooner than expected, but Jaylen Brown continues to shine.
Since Tatum’s return (excluding a game where he played under 15 minutes after being ejected against the Spurs), Brown is averaging 27.6 points per game. He scored 41 points in a 120-112 victory over Phoenix, hitting 10 of 20 shots from the floor and an impressive 19 of 21 from the free-throw line. He also contributed seven rebounds and six assists as the Celtics aim to catch the Detroit Pistons for the top spot in the Eastern Conference.
