The New York Red Bulls have signed defender Julian Bazan from Colombian club Deportivo Pereira.
Bazan, who is 20 years old, will be with the Red Bulls until 2027-28, with options extending to 2028-29 and 2029-30. He will fill a U22 Initiative roster spot.
“We’re excited to bring Julian to our team. He’s a player we’ve been watching closely, and we believe his skills and work ethic will contribute to our goals,” said head of sport Julian de Guzman. “This is a key step in his development, and we’re eager to support his growth with us.”
Bazan has played 27 matches for Pereira since his professional debut in August 2024. He has also represented Colombia’s U-20 team 24 times, helping them secure third place at the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
