Manchester United Show Interest in Sunderland Midfielder Noah Sadiki
Noah Sadiki is among the midfielders continuing to attract attention from Manchester United following an impressive debut campaign in England.
The Red Devils are expected to make several midfield additions this summer.
Casemiro has already confirmed that he will leave Old Trafford at the end of the season.
Manuel Ugarte is also expected to depart.
Reports have even suggested that Manchester United have weighed up a potential swap arrangement involving Ugarte and Sadiki as they continue reshaping the midfield department ahead of the 2026/27 season.
A number of names have been linked.
Sandro Tonali, Elliot Anderson, Carlos Baleba and Aurelien Tchouameni are just some of the midfielders reportedly being monitored by the club.
However, Sunderland star Noah Sadiki has also emerged as one of the more interesting options after his standout performances in the Premier League this season.
The DR Congo international only joined Sunderland from Union Saint-Gilloise last summer.
He has quickly established himself as one of the club’s key players during their impressive campaign back in the top flight.
Now, Noah Sadiki has addressed speculation surrounding his future.
Speaking to Belgian outlet La Derniere Heure following a return to his former club, the midfielder remained coy when asked about a possible move away from Sunderland.
“It is amazing to experience everything that is happening to me now,” Sadiki said.
“Everything went so fast: the transfer to England just after the title in Belgium, and then immediately a starter in England.”
When specifically asked about his future, he added: “My future? I still have two matches to play with Sunderland, then the World Cup.
“And as for the rest, we’ll see next season when the time is right.”
Manchester United are understood to be prioritising midfield reinforcements this summer.
Sadiki’s profile, athleticism and versatility have reportedly made him one of several players under consideration at Old Trafford.
