Inter midfielder Hakan Çalhanoğlu’s future has been clarified, with both the player and the club affirming their intention to continue their collaboration for the upcoming season. Fabrizio Romano, a trusted insider, reports that despite ongoing interest from Turkish club Galatasaray, Çalhanoğlu, 32, is committed to staying at San Siro.

The player’s agent confirmed last week that Çalhanoğlu is ready to maintain his role with the Nerazzurri. Head coach Cristian Chivu regards the Turkish midfielder as a vital component of his tactical scheme and is keen to retain him in the squad.

Currently, discussions regarding an extension of Çalhanoğlu’s contract, which is set to expire in June 2027, have been temporarily paused. Both parties have decided to revisit contract negotiations later, prioritizing immediate team objectives and the remainder of the season.

This season, Çalhanoğlu has made 30 appearances for Inter across all competitions, contributing 12 goals and 7 assists. His market valuation is estimated at €18 million.
