Manchester United Eyes Summer Transfers to Strengthen Squad

With Manchester United having secured UEFA Champions League football for next season, the upcoming summer transfer window is set to be an important one.

Midfield is the obvious priority.

Casemiro, arguably one of United’s best players this season, is leaving at the end of his contract, and there are also reports that Manuel Ugarte is going to be sold as well.

The likes of Elliot Anderson, Carlos Baleba, Adam Wharton, Ederson, and Mateus Fernandes are some of the names linked with moves to Old Trafford to bolster a midfield that will need depth if they are to keep pace with the increased schedule next season.

But that’s not the only area that may need reinforcements.

A left-sided attacker has also been mentioned to provide competition and cover for Matheus Cunha.

Now, Manchester United is exploring another position, focusing on a Brazilian striker who has caught the club’s attention.

CentreDevils can exclusively reveal that Shakhtar Donetsk striker Kaua Elias has been scouted by Manchester United.

The Brazilian, who joined Shakhtar last season, is regarded by many as a future wonderkid, having excelled for the national team at youth level.

Due to this, several English Premier League clubs are interested in the striker, and United is among them.

While there are no indications of an imminent move, circumstances could shift if Joshua Zirkzee departs Manchester United during the summer.

Elias is one of several options the club is considering for that position.

At present, the striker role is firmly held by Benjamin Sesko, but Michael Carrick likely wants to ensure greater depth in attack as Manchester United prepares to compete across multiple competitions next season.

Kaua Elias is seen as one of the most promising young forwards in South American football.

United’s interest indicates the club is continuing to monitor emerging talent beyond Europe’s top leagues.

A move for a gifted, yet largely unproven player at the senior level could represent a risk for Manchester United next season.

While the club has scouted him, CentreDevils is not aware of any imminent move or strong desire to act on that interest.

Nonetheless, as the summer window approaches, it would not be unexpected for more striker connections to surface around Old Trafford in the coming weeks.
