Celtic Secures 3-1 Victory Over Rangers in Thrilling Old Firm Clash
Celtic defeated their rivals Rangers 3-1 on Sunday in the latest installment of the Old Firm rivalry. Yang Hyun-jun opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, followed by Daizen Maeda, who added two goals in quick succession at the 53rd and 57th minutes. Mikey Moore managed to score a consolation goal for the visitors.
This victory revitalized Celtic, bringing them within one point of Hearts in Group A standings. Currently, Martin O’Neill’s team has accumulated 76 points, while the group leader has 77.
Following the match, Chris Sutton highlighted the performances of two key players: midfielder Arne Engels and fullback Alistair Johnston.
