Man Utd ahead of Bayern Munich in Kennet Eichhorn race
With his exceptional skill set and undeniable talent, it was only a matter of time before top European clubs began to take notice of Eichhorn’s rapid ascent in the football scene.
Recently, Manchester United has emerged as one of the leading contenders for Eichhorn’s signature. The Red Devils find themselves competing with local rivals Manchester City, who also have an interest in the young talent.
This update came from well-known German journalist Christian Falk.
Falk has once again revisited Eichhorn’s potential future, giving a boost to Manchester United, although he did not mention them directly this time.
While Bayern Munich had been previously identified as frontrunners to sign him, Falk asserts that the Bavarian side is currently trailing behind both domestic and international competitors.
“Are Bayern leading the race to sign Kennet Eichhorn? It is not true. Other clubs are closer to this deal,” the journalist stated in his latest column for CF Bayern Insider.
“In February, there was already a meeting with Borussia Dortmund, where they tried to secure this big talent. I think RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt are also in front, as they can offer more playing time.”
“And don’t forget that there are still English clubs who would like to sign him. So, at the moment, Bayern are still fighting for this big talent, but they’re not in the driver’s seat.”
