Manchester United Reveals 2026/27 Home Kit as Season Comes to a Close

Your focus on next season is growing for Manchester United, as the club officially unveils the 2026/27 home shirt ahead of a pivotal final week of matches.

The new adidas release has sparked enthusiasm among fans, particularly due to its retro-inspired design. Supporters won’t have to wait long to see it in action on the field.

Various United teams will take to the pitch in the coming days, although not all will debut the new kit immediately.

Manchester United Women will be the first team to sport the new home kit, as confirmed on their official website. Marc Skinner’s squad is set to showcase the shirt when they face Chelsea Women at Stamford Bridge, marking the first appearance of the updated design in a senior competitive match.

Meanwhile, despite key fixtures on the calendar, the academy teams will stick with the 2025/26 kit. The Manchester United Under-18s will wear the current jersey for the FA Youth Cup final against Manchester City Under-18s.

The match will occur at the Joie Stadium, but Darren Fletcher’s team will maintain the existing kit for continuity throughout the season. The same holds true for the Under-21s, who will also continue wearing this season’s shirt in their Premier League 2 play-off final against Brighton & Hove Albion Under-21s.

Manchester United First Team Set to Debut Kit at Old Trafford

The senior men’s side will debut the new home kit this weekend. Michael Carrick’s team is scheduled to wear it against Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford on Sunday.

United needs at least one point to secure third place in the Premier League, which adds significance to the occasion. The team is also expected to don the same strip again in their final league match away to Brighton & Hove Albion at the American Express Stadium.

With the home kit launched and a fourth shirt anticipated later in the campaign, United’s visual identity is evolving alongside their squad rebuild. The last two matches of the season will provide the first glimpse of what the team will look like moving into 2026/27.
