The Ivorian Ligue 1 has witnessed a shift in the top scorer standings as Tidiane Diabate of Korhogo has overtaken ASEC Mimosas’ Souleymane Fofana. The revelation comes after matchday 28, following ASEC Mimosas’ recent champion coronation for the 2025–2026 season.

Diabate’s impressive performance, including a brace during the latest match, propelled him to the top of the goalscoring chart with 14 goals. In contrast, Fofana, who had consistently led the race, now finds himself in second place with 12 goals, tied with teammate Bakare Kevin Ouato.
