Eintracht Frankfurt has announced the early termination of head coach Albert Riera’s contract. The decision comes after a mutual agreement between the club and the coach, effective immediately.
The entire coaching staff, including assistants Pablo Remón Arteta and Lorenzo Dolcetti, will also be leaving the club as part of this change. An official press release from Eintracht Frankfurt stated, “Eintracht Frankfurt, head coach Albert Riera, and his assistants Pablo Remón Arteta and Lorenzo Dolcetti have, by mutual agreement, decided to end their cooperation with immediate effect. We sincerely wish all three the very best in their personal and professional lives!”
This move follows a series of unsatisfactory results this season and a noticeable decline in the team’s performance. Club management felt that Riera’s staff had exhausted their ideas, prompting the need for an urgent change ahead of the summer break and a major team overhaul.
