Ivorian defender Evan Ndicka is set to be sidelined for three to four weeks due to a hamstring injury sustained during Roma’s Serie A match against Lazio. He was substituted during the match, raising immediate concerns about his condition.

Medical examinations conducted post-match confirmed a grade II hamstring tear in Ndicka’s right leg, as reported by Sky Sports. This diagnosis poses a significant challenge for the player just weeks before the upcoming World Cup.

The World Cup, scheduled to take place in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, is set to begin on June 11. Ndicka’s injury raises questions regarding his availability for the Ivory Coast’s national team during the tournament.
