In a recent report, journalist Graeme Bailey mentioned that Manchester City are stepping up their efforts to recruit Nottingham Forest star Elliot Anderson. It has been claimed that the Mancunian outfit are planning to get a deal done for the English midfielder this summer.
Anderson’s Impressive Form In English Football
Anderson has enjoyed a good run of form at the Midlands club as he has put in a run of impressive displays for them in the middle of the park. The 23-year-old has found the back of the net four times and earned five assists in 49 matches for Nottingham this season across multiple competitions.
The English talent is currently among the best central midfielders in the Premier League. Hence, Man City would do well to lure him to the Etihad Stadium at the end of this campaign.
His current contract at the City Ground will expire in the summer of 2029, which could make it tough for the Mancunian giants to sign him on a cut-price deal later this year.
