Keanu Cupido, Themba Zwane, and Peter Shalulile of Mamelodi Sundowns are confident as they prepare for their crucial Caf Champions League second leg final against ASFAR in Morocco.

The South African team heads into Sunday’s match with a narrow 1-0 advantage gained last week in Pretoria. They aim to secure their second continental trophy, having previously won their first a decade ago.

However, their preparations have been marred by off-field challenges, including the denial of a landing permit for their chartered flight to Rabat. Additionally, their fans are yet to receive visas for entry into Morocco.

In an effort to remain focused, the team has drawn inspiration from the late Nelson Mandela. Striker Peter Shalulile quoted Mandela, saying, “It always seems impossible until it’s done,” to motivate the squad ahead of the decisive match.
