Atalanta, one of Serie A’s most iconic football clubs, has announced a significant rebranding initiative with the introduction of a new logo. This change marks a departure from the emblem that represented the club for the past thirty years, embracing a contemporary minimalist design.
The newly unveiled logo features a precise circle that replaces the traditional oval, with all text and numbers removed. The club’s management has taken to their official website to elaborate on the philosophy behind this modernized brand. They have emphasized that the silhouette of the Goddess, which has been a part of the club’s identity since the 1960s, continues to be central to the new look.
Rich in symbolism, the new logo connects the club to its historical roots. Notably, the flowing hair of the Goddess is now depicted in five distinct strands, a tribute to the five founding fathers of Atalanta. Additionally, the silhouette is set against a solid blue background, encircled by a perfect black ring.
Manchester United are close to signing Atalanta midfielder Ederson.
