Tottenham Prepares to Sign Andy Robertson from Liverpool

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on X, Tottenham has secured a verbal agreement to bring Andy Robertson to the club on a free transfer from Liverpool. Despite interest from Juventus, the 32-year-old is determined to join Spurs. He had shown eagerness for a move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last January, and his stance remains unchanged.
Robertson is set to become a free agent following the confirmation of his exit from Liverpool. He played his final game for the Reds against Brentford at Anfield on the last day of the 2025/26 season last weekend. Earlier this week, Juventus emerged as a contender for the seasoned defender’s signature.
Nevertheless, Robertson has remained committed to a transfer to Tottenham since the winter window, and the move is likely to proceed soon. The left-back arrives in North London with an impressive track record, boasting extensive experience and 378 appearances for Liverpool, along with multiple trophies.
