As one of the most decorated modern defenders in the club’s history, he played a crucial role in their success under Pep Guardiola, accumulating 19 goals and nine assists in 295 appearances.
Spurs have an interest in Stones, but the report clarifies that he is not the primary target. His inclusion will become more likely if other main targets do not materialize, although his tactical profile fits well with De Zerbi’s possession-based approach.
Risks Involved in Signing Stones
Stones is regarded as one of the top central defenders in the Premier League, combining technical skill, physical prowess, and leadership qualities.
