Michael Oliver has been replaced by François Letexier for the upcoming Group E fixture between Ivory Coast and Ecuador. Initially set to officiate the match on June 14 at 11 PM GMT, Oliver has withdrawn from the role due to injury.

FIFA confirmed that Letexier, a French referee, will now lead the officiating crew for the game, scheduled to take place in the early hours of June 15, 2026, at the Philadelphia Stadium in the United States. Letexier will be supported by fellow French officials Cyril Mugnier and Mehdi Rahmouni as assistant referees.
