The Democratic Republic of Congo’s national football team, known as the Leopards, is sharpening their strategy in preparation for their inaugural match against Portugal at the World Cup. The squad arrived in the United States on June 12 and immediately commenced training activities.

Based in Houston, the team conducted their first training session, focusing on concentration and intense practice. Chancel Mbemba and his teammates are dedicated to refining their game plan ahead of their group stage opener on June 17, marking a significant achievement on the global stage co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Following their match against Portugal, the Leopards will face Colombia in their second group stage match on June 24, and their final group game will be against Uzbekistan on June 28.
