Saudi club Al-Nassr is making headlines with its ambitious bid to secure what could be the most significant and costly managerial transfer in sports history. The club, which is home to star player Cristiano Ronaldo, has initiated negotiations with Pep Guardiola, the current manager of Manchester City.

The Middle Eastern giants are looking to leverage reports suggesting Guardiola’s potential exit from Manchester City to entice him to the Pro League. Al-Nassr has reportedly put forth an astonishing financial offer that includes an annual salary of $150 million for the Spanish manager.

Should Guardiola accept this lucrative contract, he would become the highest-paid head coach in the history of world football, surpassing all previous records.

Earlier reports had indicated that Guardiola was considering a year-long sabbatical following his tenure at Manchester City, with plans to move away from club football in Europe permanently.
