London’s Chelsea Football Club is facing the potential departure of another key player following Marc Cucurella’s near-agreed move to Real Madrid. Reports suggest that Argentine midfielder Enzo Fernandez is also keen to join his Spanish teammate at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Details: Insider Ben Jacobs reports that the World Cup champion has become increasingly vocal about his dissatisfaction with the current situation at Chelsea. Fernandez is openly expressing his desire to leave the club this summer.

While Chelsea’s management remains unfazed by the player’s frustration, as he is bound by a long-term contract, they have made it clear that they will not force him to stay against his wishes. The club has established a price tag of £120 million for Fernandez, indicating their willingness to sell the player if the right offer comes along.

However, despite the apparent interest from Real Madrid, the transfer is not yet finalized. Under the leadership of José Mourinho, the club’s hierarchy is engaged in intensive discussions to determine the ideal profile of a midfielder needed to achieve balance on the pitch. Alongside Fernandez, Madrid is also considering other options, including Mateus Fernandes and Manchester City’s defensive midfielder Rodri.
