A stunning performance marked the UEFA Europa League final on Wednesday, May 20, as Aston Villa faced SC Freiburg. The English club showcased their dominance, taking control of the match early on.

In the first half, Youri Tielemans opened the scoring for Aston Villa in the 41st minute. Just before halftime, in the third minute of added time (45+3), Emi Buendía extended their lead to 2–0.

Aston Villa continued their momentum into the second half, with Morgan Rogers scoring the third goal shortly after the break. Freiburg was unable to mount a comeback, resulting in a conclusive 3–0 victory for the Birmingham side.

This victory marks the first UEFA Europa League/UEFA Cup title in Aston Villa’s history, while their manager celebrates his fifth triumph in the competition, having previously won it three times with Sevilla FC and once with Villarreal CF.
