Brentford will play against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Monday, 27th April, in an important match for the Bees.

Manchester United comes into this game following a 1-0 win against Chelsea, which puts them ten points ahead of the Blues with only five matches remaining.

Brentford, however, recently drew 0-0 with Fulham at home, putting them in a close competition with Chelsea and Bournemouth for the sixth position.

Both teams will face challenges due to injuries and suspensions, with Manchester United affected more than Brentford.

United will welcome back Harry Maguire, who has completed his suspension for using foul language after a red card incident at Bournemouth.

However, Lisandro Martinez will not play as he continues his suspension for violent conduct.

It is uncertain if Leny Yoro or Patrick Dorgu will return, as both are still dealing with injuries.

Brentford defender Rico Henry is currently injured, but the team has gained a boost with Aaron Hickey returning to the squad.

Hickey had been sidelined since late February but was on the bench for the match against Fulham last weekend.

Although he didn’t play, his presence on the bench gives manager Keith Andrews more options for this important match at Old Trafford.

The 23-year-old has played 19 Premier League matches this season and was part of the team that won 3-1 against Manchester United in their previous encounter in September.

Whether Andrews chooses to start Aaron Hickey remains to be seen, but he is likely to play if he sits on the bench again.
