Several players have arrived at the Etalons’ training base in Ouagadougou as Burkina Faso begins preparations for the June 2026 FIFA international window. The training camp commenced following head coach Amir Abdou’s announcement of his squad for this international break.
This pre-camp, organized at Abdou’s request, aims to ensure that the players, most of whom have recently completed their domestic leagues, achieve a uniform level of fitness prior to the team’s departure for Russia.
A total of ten players have reported for duty, including Hilel Konaté, Kilian Nikiema, Ismaila Ouedraogo, Lohan Doucet, Abdoul Fessal Tapsoba, Arsène Kouassi, Edmond Tapsoba, Hadalou Sagne, Cyrille Dao, and Mohamed Ouedraogo.
Burkina Faso is scheduled to face Russia and Belarus in friendly matches on June 5 and 9.
