Hamburger SV have confirmed the signing of midfielder Kofi Amoako from Dynamo Dresden following the successful completion of his medical examination. The young player, who is 21 years old, has agreed to a long-term contract with the club that is expected to extend until 2030.
The transfer was made possible through the activation of Amoako’s €2 million release clause, as reported by German journalist Florian Plettenberg. This move marks a significant step for the midfielder, who turned down several other options to join Hamburger SV.
Amoako arrives at his new club after a successful season in Bundesliga II, where he made 32 league appearances for Dynamo Dresden. His performances have highlighted his potential and value as a defensive midfielder.
