Hamza Abdelkader has officially made history by becoming the youngest player to represent Egypt at a FIFA World Cup, achieving this milestone at just 18 years of age.
The teenage forward made his debut during Egypt’s opening Group G match against Belgium, which ended in a 1-1 draw. He came onto the field in the 76th minute of the game.
Abdelkader recently transferred to FC Barcelona from Al Ahly, starting with a loan period before the Spanish club activated a €1.5 million buy option to finalize the deal.
