The draw for the qualifying round of the Africa Cup of Nations took place on Tuesday, May 19, in Cairo, Egypt, revealing the opponents each national team will face in the upcoming tournament. Exciting clashes are anticipated right from the onset of the qualifiers.

Finalists from the last Africa Cup of Nations, Senegal and Morocco, have been assigned to relatively manageable groups. Senegal will compete against Mozambique, Sudan, and Ethiopia in Group J, while Morocco faces Gabon, Niger, and Lesotho in Group A.
