A total of 29 players have been summoned for a training camp as the Ivory Coast U20 women’s football team prepares for the final round of the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup in Poland. The team will focus on refining strategies ahead of their crucial two-legged match against Benin, scheduled for May 2 and May 10.
Head coach Mathieu Esposito and his squad are determined to secure a historic qualification for the World Cup. The first leg will take place on Saturday, May 2, at the Stade Alassane Ouattara in Ebimpé, while the return leg is set for Sunday, May 10, at the Stade de Kégué in Lomé, Togo.
