Bournemouth will host Manchester City in the FA Cup quarter-finals as this will be the pick of the matches. City’s abysmal run in the Premier league has extended to the Champions league and Carabao Cup as well.
FA Cup remains the only trophy they can compete for. Considering Manchester City’s season, it will be a good statement that they managed to win a trophy in a struggling season.
Bournemouth will produce a strong test for Guardiola’s men as the “Cherries” have had an amazing season under Andoni Iraola.
The forward line has worked wonders under him and will look to break the porous city defence through vigorous and aggressive pressing.
Fulham v Crystal Palace
Fulham knocked out holders Manchester United in a 5th Round win over penalties and now are set to face Crystal Palace in a home London derby.
Fulham look favourites to advance as they have a well rounded team and Crystal Palace will be missing their striker, Jean Philip Mateta, who suffered a nasty kick to the head in the FA Cup win against Milwall.

Preston v Aston Villa
Sky Bet Championship side Preston, the lowest-ranked team left in the competition, will be at home to Aston Villa. Aston Villa will look to win this game comfortably with enough firepower on the team sheet and the bench.
It will be a mountain to climb for Preston but this FA Cup has been full of surprises as most of the favorite teams have crashed out of the Cup already with only Manchester City remaining.
Brighton v Nottingham Forest
Brighton, having beaten Newcastle 2-1 after extra time at St James’ Park on Sunday, will take on Nottingham Forest at the Amex Stadium after Forest’s victory against Ipswich on penalties.
This will be a close match as both the teams have done well in the Premier League and would like to emulate the form in this match.
History in FA Cup
Aside from 2023 victors Manchester City, Aston Villa have also won the FA Cup 7 times but the last won it in 1957. Surprisingly, Preston who are 15th in the Championship won the 1937-38 FA Cup. Nottingham Forest have triumphed twice in the tournament in 1898 and 1959.
Fulham, Crystal Palace, Bournemouth and Brighton have never won the cup.
