The best player of the 2023 U-17 World Cup in Indonesia, Paris Brunner, has joined the French League club, AS Monaco.
The Borussia Dortmund academy player was brought in by Monaco for an undisclosed transfer fee, but will be contracted for four years until 2028.
On the AS Monaco website on Saturday, Brunner will be immediately loaned to Cercle Bruges for this season.
Borussia Dortmund Sports Director Sebastian Kehl regretted the move of the German striker.

Kehl actually wanted to tie Brunner to a long-term contract because he considered the best player of the U-17 World Cup to be a very talented talent.
“We thank Paris for his time at BVB and of course wish him the best,” said Kehl.
Brunner has strengthened Dortmund U19 38 times in the A-Junioren-Bundesliga West, scoring 24 goals and ten assists.
Brunner was a key part of Germany’s U-17 side as they won the 2023 U-17 World Cup in Indonesia.
