Former Manchester United players are making strides worldwide as they seek to enhance their careers, whether on the pitch or beyond. The upcoming summer transfer window is expected to see numerous former and current Red Devils change clubs.

Rasmus Hojlund is confirmed as one of these players, having made a permanent move to Napoli after his loan with the Italian club last season. The Danish international has officially transitioned to the Serie A side.

Hojlund, who has made 95 appearances for United, shared a farewell message to fans ahead of his first full season in Napoli. Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford might also see changes this summer following his loan stint with Barcelona. Recent reports indicate a potential permanent deal in Spain, although Barcelona is also pursuing former Everton ace Anthony Gordon.

In another development rewarding talent, former Manchester United midfielder Kieran Morrison has signed a new contract with Liverpool. The club announced on the official Reds website that Morrison has finalized a deal extending his stay until 2030, according to The Athletic.

Reflecting on his experience at Liverpool, Kieran Morrison expressed, “It’s been a massive improvement from last year. That was my goal this year – just to impact myself and PL2 as much as I can. I think I’ve done quite well.

“As a team, we wanted to get further in the play-offs but we’ve come a long way as a team, especially with Rob, the new manager, and obviously me becoming captain during it. It just shows how much we’ve come [along] since the beginning of the season.

“So, I’m really proud of my performances and the team’s performances.

“I always set targets and this season I feel like I’ve accomplished a lot of my targets. So, hopefully next season goes just as well.”

Since joining Liverpool from Manchester United in 2019, Morrison has seen notable success and was nominated for the Premier League 2 Player of the Season last campaign. Manchester United’s potential regret could turn into Liverpool’s advantage, as Morrison continues to develop and may soon find himself playing regularly in the Premier League.
