Miguel Cardoso, head coach of Mamelodi Sundowns, has shifted his focus from the Caf Champions League to the upcoming Betway Premiership clash against Stellenbosch FC. Cardoso’s team recently secured a spot in the continental tournament’s final by defeating Esperance over the weekend, but he emphasized that his current priority lies solely with the PSL.

The Sundowns are set to face Stellenbosch FC tomorrow, and a win would allow them to reclaim the top position in the league, trailing Orlando Pirates by just two points. “Having a positive approach is always very important. Look, one thing that’s in my head now is Stellenbosch on Wednesday, nothing more in my head! I will sleep very well, have dinner with my assistants, and then Stellenbosch,” Cardoso stated.

He also outlined the busy schedule ahead, mentioning that after tomorrow’s match, the team will play against Richards Bay and Polokwane in quick succession. “That’s what we have to do, seven matches in 21 days, nobody in the world, but we will do it. That’s my thoughts,” added Cardoso.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 7:30 PM at Loftus Versveld.
