Manchester United faces a difficult injury situation, particularly in defense, as they prepare for an important five-game stretch to secure a spot in next season’s Champions League.

Leny Yoro is sidelined with an injury that may keep him out for most of these crucial games.

Matthijs de Ligt is also unavailable due to a back injury.

Patrick Dorgu remains out with a hamstring injury from a match against Arsenal in January, but there is hope he might make a return before the season ends, as he has been seen training on the field.

Additionally, there has been a setback for another Manchester United player in midfield.

Toby Collyer, currently on loan at Hull City, has suffered an ankle injury in training, confirmed by manager Sergej Jakirovic to Hull Live.

Jakirovic mentioned, “Unfortunately, we have a lot of problems in our team selections because we lost Toby Collyer in training.”

“He now has a protective boot, and for him, the season is over. It has been an unlucky season for him; this is unbelievable.”

Collyer had already missed time earlier in the season due to a hamstring injury in February and calf issues during Christmas, which affected his ability to gain valuable experience.

He will return to Manchester United next week for further treatment and will prepare for a new challenge, possibly at a different club, next season.
