This season has been a bust for the fans as they might finish the lowest in the PL Table in a long time.
Ruben Amorim came in as Man United manager on November 11th, 2024 and has not been able to sign any of the players he wants yet. The players that are already in the club were brought in for big money by Ten Hag. But many of them have failed to perform for the club and now there are lots of unwanted players in the squad.
Ruben Amorim who came in from Sporting Lisbon was having a great season in the Portuguese league but since coming to the Premier League he has been facing the what from all the places.

He style of gameplay requires intensity and aggressive pressing from the players and it has been quite controversial since his arrival. Marcus Rashford who is a Man united legend was kept out of the squad from multiple matchdays and now has been sent on loan to Aston Villa.
Some have backed him saying that he has clear plans and principles and some have criticised him for being adamant on his game play as the current squad is not capable of playing that way especially when the current forwards have been lacklustre in front of the goal.
The next season will look a lot different from now as Amorim has confirmed that he has been clear about his plans for the players as well and has told them about their future as well with the club. He is looking for reinforcements into the team and for that to happen many players will be leaving Manchester United in the summer.

Viktor Gyokeres, his long lost striker will be his first priority to recruit as Amorim desperately needs a striker who can finish and Gyokeres has worked with the gaffer before. This might be the perfect move for both of them as it will expose Gyokeres to a better stage and Amorim can get a lethal striker in his team.
Alongside Gyokeres, Jonathan David is also being assessed for the striker responsibility as the forward’s contract ends in the summer and is looking forward to moving to the Premier League.
