Mahazou Baba Cisset was officially sworn in as the new president of the Malian Football Federation on Tuesday, April 21, during a ceremony that highlighted his new role.

The election for this position occurred on April 16, although it was the ceremony that confirmed his leadership of the governing body of Malian football.

The handover ceremony was held in Bamako and attended by key stakeholders from the football community in the country. Cisset will lead the Federation’s new Executive Committee for a term lasting until 2030.

During his tenure, he is expected to implement strategies aimed at revitalizing Malian football.
