Tottenham Faces Key Player Decisions as Summer Transfer Window Approaches

As the summer transfer window approaches, Tottenham Hotspur’s primary goal remains securing their status in the Premier League. Avoiding relegation is crucial for the club, particularly as they look to retain their key players while also aiming to make quality additions in various positions.

Inside the club, there is an increasing belief that significant changes to the squad are imminent. Consequently, Tottenham’s management may consider moving on several players this summer, seeking replacements who align with Roberto De Zerbi’s unique style of play.

Some players have begun to explore options for leaving White Hart Lane. Guglielmo Vicario has secured an agreement to join Inter Milan, while Richarlison is open to re-joining Everton. Now, another Tottenham star is reportedly planning a departure.

Radu Dragusin Considers Departure from Tottenham

Radu Dragusin has played a limited role this season, appearing in just ten matches after recovering from an ACL injury. The centre-back was linked with a return to Serie A during the January transfer window, but the club blocked his exit.

Recently, Dragusin’s agent, Florian Manea, asserted that the defender’s focus remains on aiding Spurs in their fight to stay in the Premier League, despite the swirling rumors. Just days after these comments, Radu Dragusin has drawn significant interest.

According to an exclusive report from Romanian outlet Fanatik, Dragusin has expressed his approval of joining the RB Leipzig project. The German club has been monitoring him for months and plans to extend an offer at the season’s close. Tottenham has placed a €20 million price tag on the 24-year-old, who is eager to depart this summer.

RB Leipzig has identified Dragusin as a key target to bolster their defense. The report further states that the Romanian defender is keen to move to the Bundesliga after struggling to make his mark at Tottenham. His agent has recently visited the RB Leipzig headquarters and attended a match against Union Berlin, leaving with a positive impression.

Dragusin is not interested in playing in the Championship if Tottenham is relegated. He has consented to leave N17 and seeks to continue his career in Germany. The outcome will depend on whether Spurs and Leipzig can reach an agreement regarding his transfer.
