Rocky Bushiri has been ruled out of the upcoming World Cup after sustaining an injury during a league match with Hibernian FC against Motherwell FC last Saturday. The injury occurred just 15 minutes into the game, forcing the Congolese international to leave the pitch.
This setback is particularly significant for the defender, who was initially selected by coach Sébastien Desabre to represent the Democratic Republic of Congo in the tournament co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
As the team adjusts to this unfortunate news, the Congolese Football Federation has confirmed that Aaron Tshibola has been called up as a replacement for Bushiri.
