Cameroonian midfielder Dina Ebimbe Junior is reportedly attracting interest from Bundesliga club Schalke 04, following his loan spell at Brest in France’s Ligue 1. The club, which has recently secured promotion to the Bundesliga for the next season, aims to enhance its squad with the addition of the 25-year-old player.
According to journalist Florian Plettenberg, while Schalke 04 is making efforts to sign Ebimbe, no official negotiations have commenced with his current club, Eintracht Frankfurt. The German side is believed to be asking for three million euros for the midfielder, but Schalke is reportedly only willing to offer one million euros for his transfer.
Last season, Ebimbe spent time on loan at Brest, where he made a notable impact by scoring five goals in Ligue 1. As Schalke looks to strengthen its roster, the future of the midfielder remains uncertain amid these ongoing discussions.
