There has been a big wait for the next international fixtures since then and Tuchel finally gets a chance to pick an England team this week.
Tuchel has been in and around the buzz for a long time and also knows the pressure to ‘bring it home’.
A serial winner by trade, Thomas Tuchel is coaching a national team for the first time in his managerial career. Although he has coached Chelsea in the English domestic league and also won the Champions league with them, this job comes with a different set of problems and challenges.
The first challenge was to pick a squad of 26 players for the World Cup Qualifiers from the pool of such amazing talent in the country. Some positions have guaranteed starters and some positions have exciting competitions between world class talents.

Despite having elite players England have struggled to win a trophy and it has been a case for a long time. TT is actually here to rectify this situation, a manager of chaos, he is renowned for working out the best case scenarios with worst case situations.
Inclusion of Jordan Henderson and Marcus Rashford
A firm believer of reformatory, TT has been in the news for inclusion of Jordan Henderson and Marcus Rashford in the England squad.
“With Jordan, it’s a pretty easy one,” Tuchel said in his press conference. “He’s a serial winner, he’s captain of Ajax at the moment and he’s played a lot of matches.
“What he brings to every team is leadership, character, personality, energy. He makes sure that everyone lives by the standards.
With the inclusion of players like Jordan Henderson, Kyle Walker, Dan Burn and Marcus Rashford, it looks like Tuchel wants to build a team with an amalgamation of young and experienced players.
