Brazil’s national team head coach, Carlo Ancelotti, is planning to utilize Neymar in the third match of the group stage at the 2026 World Cup against Scotland. Ancelotti expressed confidence in Neymar’s readiness to return to the field following his recovery from injury.

As reported by The Touchline, the 34-year-old forward is set to replace Raphinha, who is sidelined due to a right thigh muscle injury and will not be available for this crucial fixture.

Ancelotti views Neymar as a suitable replacement, capable of stepping into the role previously held by Raphinha in the starting lineup. The Seleção head coach is optimistic that Neymar’s experience and skill will significantly bolster the team’s attacking capabilities.
