Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface has split from his girlfriend, Norwegian Rike Germine, after four years of relationship. The reason for the breakup was disagreement over the terms of the marriage.
As reported by Telegraf, Hermine insisted on an official marriage without a prenuptial agreement. Boniface, for his part, considered the existence of such an agreement necessary to protect his finances in the event of a divorce or other unforeseen circumstances.
A prenuptial agreement is a legal document that regulates the distribution of property and finances between spouses in the event of divorce or death of one of the partners. Boniface insisted on signing one, seeking to protect himself from potential financial risks in the future. Hermine, on the other hand, saw the rejection of the agreement as an act of trust and loyalty.
Since the couple could not come to an agreement on the issue, they decided to separate.
Boniface, 24, has established himself as one of Europe’s most promising strikers, scoring eight goals and providing one assist in 15 appearances for Bayer this season.
Before joining the German club in 2023, Boniface played for teams such as Real Saphir, Lefke, Bodo-Glimt and Union Saint-Gilloise. His transfer value is currently estimated at 45 million euros.
