Tottenham Set for Major Squad Changes This Summer

Tottenham Hotspur’s main goal right now is to stay in the Premier League, which will impact their player recruitment in the coming months.

The club is having a tough season, leading to the firing of Thomas Frank last month. He has been replaced by interim manager Igor Tudor. However, Tudor has not managed to turn things around, as he has lost all three of his Premier League matches so far.

Regardless of their league standing next season, Tottenham’s management seems to be planning for the future. They are expected to seek many new players as part of a significant squad overhaul.

Tottenham in Pursuit of West Ham Winger Crysencio Summerville

According to TEAMtalk, Tottenham is at the forefront of the race to sign West Ham winger Crysencio Summerville as the transfer window approaches. The talented player has attracted interest from nine clubs across Europe.

Summerville has had a strong second half of the season, scoring five goals and making one assist in 24 Premier League appearances. His performances have been among the few bright spots for West Ham, who are fighting to avoid relegation.

Tottenham first considered signing Summerville during the winter transfer window after noticing his impact against Thomas Frank’s team. However, West Ham was unwilling to let go of him during their relegation battle, a position that remains unchanged. The club is not interested in selling Summerville if they stay in the Premier League.

Tottenham will need to be ready for whatever happens in the next few months if Tudor cannot improve their results. They are close to the relegation zone, and unless they start winning, they could face relegation.

If West Ham were to drop down a league, Tottenham might have a prime opportunity to sign Summerville. However, if Tottenham were to face relegation themselves, their chances of acquiring the winger would be greatly diminished.
