Jaden Ivey, selected as the No. 5 pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, has been let go by the Chicago Bulls.
In recent weeks, Ivey shared several videos discussing religion and various subjects. On Monday, he released a video criticizing the NBA’s involvement in Pride Month.
“The NBA promotes Pride Month. They showcase it to everyone,” Ivey stated. “They invite people to join in celebrating actions they view as wrong. It’s all over the billboards and the streets.”
On Monday afternoon, the Bulls announced Ivey’s release due to conduct deemed harmful to the team.
Ivey, 24, has participated in only four games this current season because of a knee injury. He has previously admitted to facing challenges with depression.
