Brandon Clarke’s season had already ended, but now the Memphis Grizzlies forward is facing serious legal issues.
He was arrested on Wednesday afternoon in Cross County, Arkansas. The local Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies took the 29-year-old into custody around 12:30 p.m.
Clarke faces charges for possession and trafficking of a controlled substance, as well as for improper passing and fleeing a vehicle while speeding.
The Grizzlies have not yet commented on the situation.
