The Confederation of African Football (CAF) will host a draw for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations next Tuesday in Cairo, Egypt. This event is set to begin at 12 pm GMT.

On 19 May, the draw will categorize the 48 nations participating in the qualifiers into 12 groups, each consisting of four teams. This structure prepares for the upcoming qualifiers, which will commence in September.

The tournament is scheduled to take place in East Africa, specifically across Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, from 19 June to 17 July 2027. The winners of each qualifying group, along with the three best runners-up, will secure direct entry into the tournament, while the remaining runners-up will face off in play-offs conducted over two legs.
