Milan’s Inter has successfully retained its head coach, Christian Chivu, following a new contract agreement. The 45-year-old Romanian specialist has gained the management’s trust, leading to this extension.
According to prominent journalist Nicolo Schira on social media platform X, Chivu’s new contract will last until 2028, with the option for further extension. He is set to receive an annual salary of 4 million euros.
Chivu, who took charge in June 2025, has had a remarkable season, clinching both the Scudetto and the Coppa Italia with Inter. Under his leadership this season, the team has played 53 matches, achieving 36 wins, 6 draws, and 11 losses. His previous contract was due to expire in the summer of 2027.
