Canadian striker Jonathan David, whose time in Italy’s Serie A has not lived up to expectations, is poised for a potential transfer to the English Premier League this summer. His future at Juventus appears uncertain as the club’s management has acknowledged the need for significant changes in their attacking lineup.

According to reports from TEAMtalk, the Bianconeri have permitted the 26-year-old forward to explore loan options after a disappointing debut season. David joined Juventus as a free agent from Lille last summer, signing a five-year contract, but only managed to secure six goals in 34 matches across all competitions.

In light of his struggles, intermediaries representing David are actively seeking opportunities in England. Initial contacts have been established with Newcastle United and Aston Villa, while Brighton, Crystal Palace, and Leeds United have also been informed of his availability.

Jonathan David, who has an impressive record of 154 career goals, is reportedly eager to transition to the Premier League, believing that the league’s style of play will suit his strengths and help him regain his form.
