Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek has firmly dismissed ongoing transfer speculation regarding striker Victor Osimhen, stating that the club has no plans to sell the Nigerian player this summer.

Osimhen’s outstanding performances in Turkey have drawn interest from several top European clubs, including FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Chelsea. However, Özbek emphasized the club’s commitment to retaining the forward.

“We are not considering selling Victor Osimhen. Putting a price on a player we don’t intend to sell is like dressing a footballer before he’s even born,” he said.

The 27-year-old joined Galatasaray on a season-long loan from Napoli on August 31, 2024, with the Turkish champions agreeing to cover his net salary of €6 million as part of the deal.
