Fulham Football Club is reportedly in the final stages of negotiations to appoint Álvaro Arbeloa as the new head coach. The Spanish specialist is now seen as the primary candidate to fill the vacant position following discussions between the club and the former Real Madrid coach.

Ben Jacobs has reported that Fulham has almost finalized terms with Arbeloa, moving closer to a decision that has garnered significant attention within football circles. The club had previously engaged in extensive searches and discussions with other notable coaching figures.

During this search, Fulham’s management spoke with several well-regarded coaches, including Ange Postecoglou, Thomas Frank, Kieran McKenna, and Frank Lampard, as they explored options to lead the team effectively.

Additionally, Rúben Amorim was considered a potential candidate for the role. However, the Portuguese coach has reportedly removed himself from consideration, as he is now believed to be one of the leading contenders for the managerial position at Italian club AC Milan.
