Bayern Munich holds goalkeeper Manuel Neuer’s achievements in high regard as the club prepares to announce a contract extension.
According to esteemed journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano, citing BILD, Bayern has reached an agreement with the 40-year-old Neuer to extend his contract. The new deal is set to run until the summer of 2027 and is currently in its final stages, pending legal approval from both parties, after which the announcement will be made officially.
Neuer joined Bayern in 2011 from Schalke for €30 million. Since then, he has played 597 matches for the club, conceding 498 goals and maintaining 269 clean sheets. His current contract is set to expire at the end of the season, and Transfermarkt estimates his market value at €4 million.
