Borussia Dortmund has officially announced the signing of its first professional contract with 17-year-old midfielder Mussa Kaba, one of the club’s most promising academy talents.
Details: The youth international, who has Guinean roots, signed a long-term deal with the eight-time Bundesliga champions. Kaba, who joined Dortmund’s youth system in 2018, has advanced through various age levels, showcasing significant development and potential.
Dortmund’s sporting director Ole Buck praised Kaba’s impressive footballing skills and physical attributes, noting that he is considered one of the biggest talents in German football today. The club is demonstrating strategic faith in Kaba’s abilities as he continues his progression.
This season, Kaba has already made six appearances for Dortmund’s reserve team in the Regionalliga West and played a crucial role in the team’s recent victory in the Premier League International Cup.
